To be considered for the final shortlist of bands that will be competing, please send in the following details to us at unmaad.bsor2009@gmail.com, latest by 10th September 2009:
1. A brief profile of your band (including band name and band members)
2. Competitions won and performances given
3. An original composition (OC) in .mp3 format
Note that having an original composition is a necessary criterion to be able to participate.

Bands which are shortlisted for the event will be notified a week after the deadline.

Headlining Act :: Slain

Unmaad 09 presents to you - Slain, Bangalore's Classic Rock outfit. After conquering the NLS Strawberry Fields '07, CBIT Hyderabad Carpe Diem '08, IIT Madras Saarang '08 and IIT Mumbai Livewire '08, Slain's all ready to set the Open Air Theater of IIM Bangalore on fire after the finals of B-School of Rock.

Unmaad brings to you - the Baap of Rock Competitions - B-SCHOOL OF ROCK! A rock competition for the top 12 semi-professional bands of this part of the world. It's time to separate the men from the boys! Let's take head banging to a whole new level of madness!

B-SCHOOL OF ROCK - Be Loud, Be Heard!


The Winning Band shall get:

1. A free contract for cutting out a 5-track album at Music4Soul Recording Studios (valid for an year)
2. 1000 CDs recorded and labeled of the same, and
3. An interview and live performance opportunity at Radio Indigo.

In addition, the Best 6 Original Compositions of B-School of Rock 2009 will make it to B-School of Rock - Hall of Fame, a music record, 1000 CDs of which will be released during Unmaad and distributed free-of-cost during Unmaad and later at various pubs and cafes in Bangalore.
